Yesterday was a pretty nice day here in military land. With Mason on casual status we have lots of time to work on household projects and just hang out playing games and stuff. It's kind of like adult Kindergarten: eat, nap, play games, read books, study some things, and mostly chill. I hosted an afternoon get together for our spouses group and about six women came, and Mason hung out for awhile; so that was really nice. Mason was happy the rest of the afternoon because he got leftover brownies and cookies, and we went to the bank to get some change rolls, and we counted up all our spare change. The smile on Mason's face while he counted over $100 in change was priceless.
In the evening we went to Petco to use up some coupons on food and shavings for Rembrandt and we bought him a race track that his rolling ball goes into. Petco is having a hamster race in 2 weeks..so we'll see if he can train fast enough for the race. We joined some of Mason's friends from his class, that he went to IFS with at Chili's for dinner which was pretty fun. And we ended the evening with the Simpsons and a monopoly re-match (still in play.)
