Texas is its own world

Instead of debating whether or not Puerto Rico should be considered the next state, perhaps the argument should be if Texas should separate and be the 8th continent. Sometimes I think people here are from another planet, and if you ever have driven with the crazies on Chicago highways that's nothing compared to the self-centered drivers in the town of Wichita Falls. Despite the faults of this larger than life state, it's not all bad.

Mason and I had dinner at the only Thai restaurant in town with some of the other causal Lts today, which was fun and a change of pace. The guys we've met are really friendly and we all have a good laugh. Mason will be finishing work this week which makes him very happy! Me too! On a more upsetting point (depending who's perspective you're looking from) the motorcycle deal Mason was looking at fell through, but his helmet and jacket should arrive tomorrow.

If any of you are living in Evanston or have access to the Evanston Review at your local library, there was a wedding announcement from our wedding in the Sept 20th issue. We haven't seen it yet, hopefully it was good. :)
