At the end of September, the base had a small Fall Fest in the BX parking lot. We really had no expectations, but on Saturday mornings we like to go on different family adventures. Since it was just a few blocks from our house we walked over to check it out. The different squadrons or groups on base could set-up booths to sell various merchandise or run games/face painting etc...to raise funds for their group. We didn't spend any money, but really, we didn't need to with the excitement of the fire truck being available for climbing on.
