Theo at 7 months

I thought 6 months came quickly- well 7 months is just shocking!  It's hard to remember what life was like without this sweet, little boy.  Although that's not to say Daddy and I couldn't use a mini vacation.  :)

Playing with friends at the park

What's up with Theo in the past month?
-We lowered his crib

-He is still sleeping through the night (about 9pm-10am, except for daycare mornings where he gets up at 7am)

-Moved to the "movers" room at daycare

-Drinking about 20 oz of breastmilk a day, and eating baby food 2-3 times a day

-Foods include:  Rice Cereal, Squash, Carrots, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Peaches, veggie mum mum crackers (sometimes)...he likes those orange foods

-The boy HATES peas!  He would spit them out the first week I tried introducing them, so we took a break and I reintroduced them...he ate the whole container and violently threw it up all over me!  I get it- no more peas!

-He is starting to try to drink water from a sippy cup, although it's a new sucking technique and it's a little hard to hold for him

-He's getting into 6-9 month clothes, although some 3 month onesies still fit him

-He got his first pair of crocs, and sandles (he's required to wear shoes at daycare)

-He can take off his socks and shoes

-Theo is sitting up for longer periods of time, although he still tumbles over (he needs a helmet)

-The baby swing and reclining chair are being retired since he can definitely escape them.

-Crawling looks more like an army crawl then a one-armed gimpy crawl

-Favorite toys include:  balls he can chase, things that make noise, his pacifier, stackable cups, a crawl ball, and the iPad.

-Went to his first air show

-Went to his first prom

-Can mostly sit up on his own in a shopping cart

-Added the da-da-da sound and occasionally ma-ma to his vocabulary, although not directed towards either one of us

-Dad is for sure the apple of his eye and when he's around he is constantly following him with his eyes

-Probably about 18.5 lbs and 27 inches, just guessing

It's just amazing to me to see how much different he is month to month.  In the next month or two, I suspect we'll be baby-proofing the entire house.
