Woodrow at 13 months

Woodrow turned 13 months old during our vacation-and wow what a change we've seen this month.  It seems that so quickly our baby is turning into a big kid.  Yikes!  He's on the move and not letting anything get in his way!  Woodrow is definitely always trying to keep up with his on-the-go big brother, Theo; and the two of them are really pretty sweet together.

Before our trip we wanted to ditch the bottles and move Woodrow to sippy cups.  This was something that was stressed big time to us when Theo turned 1, no bottles after one, so we figured we should give it a go with Woodrow and he switched over fairly easy.  It took a little while, but it was somewhat stressful for me since I knew that we'd also have to try and switch him over from breast milk to whole milk before our trip as well.   So, after he got comfortable taking milk from the sippy cup, we introduced whole milk to him the week of our trip, and thankfully he didn't show any signs of an allergy.  This worked out pretty well for us on our trip, but really having to bring milk everywhere that doesn't always have a refrigerator is just a pain.

We also switched Woodrow to his big kid car seat.  He really likes to see us and out the front of the car.  For our trip, we put a toy basket between the boys seats and he liked reaching in and choosing toys and books during the ride.  This was Woodrow's second long car trip and he's added quite a few states to the ones he's been in: Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Wyoming.

Love this little man!  He's an amazing boy.
