Roosevelt, Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Kehs

We know we've been sucking at posting on the blog. It's not because we don't have lots of things to talk about, we've just been way too busy to keep up with ourselves. But here's a photo from my last flight (Minot to Barksdale by way of South Dakota). It's pretty small, but that's what Mt Rushmore looks like from about 5,000' up, hopefully some people on the ground realized we were there and enjoyed the random flyover...
Also in the last week, a new flying milestone for me. It was the worst weather conditions that I've flown an approach to landing in yet. It was raining with the ceiling at 400 feet and about 2 miles visibility (the lowest most approaches can go is 200' and 1/2 mile). It was also my first time ever landing the B-52 anywhere else besides Barksdale (we were at Minot AFB, ND).
