Woodrow at Three Months

What can I say about my little Woodrow...he's just wonderful.  He's such a well-tempered, calm little guy.  He is constantly smiling and you can't help but be put in a great mood when you see him.

This month, Woodrow has been on more of a regular schedule which is working out really well.  He basically eats (breastmilk) 6 times a day.  He's getting better at taking a bottle if needed, but definitely likes it warm and not cold at all.  He'll go for a longer stretch in the morning without eating and then is pretty regular about eating every 2-3 hours in the afternoon/evening.  The last feeding is an hour apart (about 8:30pm and 9:30pm) and then he goes to sleep.  He's been sleeping anywhere from 10-12 hours (or more).  Usually he goes to be between 9-10pm and he'll sleep until 9-11am.  It depends on our morning activities, since I tend to take Theo out on a morning adventure.  Woodrow is spending more time awake these days and loves to check out his surroundings. 

I think that Woodrow is as excited about Theo, as Theo is about Woodrow.  Whenever Theo is around Woodrow just has huge smiles, and coos, and squeals.  Theo's been nice about sharing soft toys with Woodrow, reading to him, and hanging out with him while Woodrow works on rolling around.  He's not consistent with rolling over yet, but he has gone front to back a few times.

Woodrow is growing and is officially out of all the newborn and most 0-3 month clothes.  He's wearing 3 month clothes, and would fit the 3-6 month clothes, but I'm waiting to pull them all out.  He's in size 1 diapers, and has been trying out lots of winter weather gear since it's starting to get quite cold out.

He can hold his head up really well when we hold him or when he's having tummy time.  He spits up much less than before, but he still does after almost every meal, so we have to be cautions about putting him on his tummy too soon after eating.  His favorite toy is the play mat right now.  He's discovered his hands, so he LOVES to grab onto toys and swing them around to make noise.  We let him have the wubbanub doggy pacifier, which he likes to hold on to, but he can also pull it in and out of his mouth, which is good and bad.
