Shoes--Shoes--Shoes

 

 Theo loves shoes.  I'm sure that I mentioned this many times before in pervious blog posts, but recently I figured it deserved its own special post.  Theo likes to play with the shoes that we keep near our door, Theo finds shoes in our closets, and he likes to try and put on his shoes.  When Theo was in daycare and moved to the "big kid" room, he had to have shoes, which is why we even got him a pair.  He had a small pair that were handed down to him, but he only wore them once or twice.  I got him a small pair of sandals in a size two, and because he likes them so much, I went back and got a size 3 (which he currently wears) and a size 5 for future use.   He also got a pair of little crocs that he likes a lot, especially since mommy and daddy have ones just like him. 

The nice thing about Theo's show obsession is that for the most part he isn't trying to eat the shoes-which would just be gross.  He tries putting them on, he carries them around the house with him, puts them in odd places, and has recently started to put them on the tables.  

The funny little guy even was smart enough to find the show box with the hidden pair of size 5 shoes.  He was pretty happy when he found mom's "secret" stash of shoes in his very own closet.
